Hand Progression Flow

Start Hand

The dealer position is determined clockwise.

Post Blinds

Mandatory Small Blind and Big Blind bets are placed to build the pot.

Deal Hole Cards

Each player receives two private cards face down.

Pre-flop Betting

The first round of betting starts from the player left of the Big Blind.

Deal The Flop (3 Cards)

Three community cards are dealt face up in the center of the table.

Flop Betting Round & Deal The Turn (4th Card)

River Betting Round

The final round of betting, determining if the hand goes to showdown.

How does the hand start?

After the dealer is set, the Small Blind and Big Blind are posted, and each player receives two hole cards.

How many betting rounds are there?

There are normally four: Pre-flop, Flop, Turn, and River.

When do community cards appear?

Three cards are shown after the Flop, another after the Turn, and the final card after the River.

When does a hand go to Showdown?

If two or more players remain after the final betting round, they reveal their cards to determine the winner.

Who wins the pot?

The player with the best five-card hand wins. If everyone else folds, the last remaining player wins immediately.
